Back in November of this school year, we had a new student. She had been in school maybe a week. One day she brought her homework back written on 4x5 inch decorative pink paper. I chuckled on the inside, and told her she needed to take her school paper home and use that from now on. She complied and I didn't think much of it.
Later that day, I went back to check her work, and she had written down a problem with this: "the answer is 52, maybe"
