If you are looking for morning openers or vocabulary builders - this is the place to go!
A colleague of mine recently introduced me to this wonderful website! Every day there is a video clip posted, along with reading information, and learning activities for your students. And - to top it off - there's a vocabuarly section!
When you get to the homepage, you'll simply click on the picture. From there you will be taken to today's page. You can then click on a button to the top right of the video to go back to previous days.
Here are some of the focus questions over the past few weeks:
- Do Jitterbugs Bite?
- How Much Rain Can a Cloud Hold?
- If Blood is Red, Why Are Veins Blue?
- How Does Clay Animation Work?
- Do Woodchucks Really Chuck Wood?
- Why Do Giraffes Have Long Necks?
- Who Invented Weekends?
There is also a search button you can use to find specific topics!!
AND - your students can even leave comments on the page. It looks like their questions will even be answered!!
Click on the picture below to be taken directly to the homepage.
What other awesome websites can you direct me to?
