April Bulletin Board Idea - "Recycled" Even!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - I am NOT a fan of bulletin boards. I do not have the space for things that are simply "pretty" in my classroom. Now - if they serve an educational purpose, that's a whole 'nother story!

Those of you who have been around for awhile have already heard that rant before. My apologies...

However, I do have a colleague who put up a cute St. Patrick's Day bulletin board. (In the hallway! So no "waste" of educational space!) Here it is again for those of you who missed it...

Here's why I love this April themed bulletin board - she used the same basic design. Talk about saving a bunch of time and energy!! It's genius! Check it out!

If for some crazy reason I ever decide to jump on the bulletin board bandwagon, I think this will be the way I go. "Recycle" a bulletin board for 2-3 months whenever possible!

So, what are your thoughts on bulletin boards? Am I alone with my dislike for them?

I do not have room inside my room for bulletin boards either. But love that this teacher was able to recycle what she did one month to the next. Saves her more time for planning of educational activities. :) I think we are on the same page!

I don't have themed bulletin boards in my room either for the mere time it takes to create them. I do love to display student work so I just keep the same background and change student work. I just found you via the The Teachers Group on FB and I am your newest follower!

Thanks for your comment! I also love displaying student work. They get so excited about seeing their own work displayed. =)

I aspire to do better bulletin boards next year... and I think your photos of your colleague's board might be germinating an idea for me! Thanks!
