This is one of my favorites from this year. I was carrying around a folder with a Social Studies project labeled Soc. St.
One our the 5th grade girls looks at me completely seriously and asks, "Why are you carrying a folder that says Sock Street?"
I had no idea what she was talking about. She finally had to point to the folder, and I just started laughing. It took me a minute or two before I could even explain it to her.
I still ask her how "Sock Street" is from time to time. =)
