12. Favorite movie you watched:

Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt. 2

 

I'll admit, I refused to watch the movies or read the books when they were first popular. However, I late how to jump on the bandwagon, and I am SOOOO glad that I did. The last movie was by far the best. And I got to watch it with a friend and my boyfriend - so no complaints from me!

11. Favorite TV series:

Grey's Anatomy

 

I'm still addicted to this show even after all these years. I've seriously toyed with asking for the seasons on DVD. But then I might go a little overboard with it...


You just have to start at the beginning!

 

 

 

10. Favorite restaurant:

????

 

Hard to answer this one! There's really not much for restaurants in SD where I live. There's the local cafe which I enjoy, but the "big name" restaurant closest to wear I live in Perkins and even that is 30 miles away! However, I do like Olive Garden or a good steak house when I go out in the "big city"! ha!

 

 

9. Favorite new thing you tried:

Teaching 6th grade!

 

I was pretty nervous starting this school year in 6th grade, but I'm totally enjoying it! I'm not sure 6th grade is my "forever home" as far as teaching goes, but the kiddos have been great and I like what I'm doing.

8. Favorite gift you got:

When my boyfriend and I started dating, he gave me roses. It was the first time I've received flowers from a significant other - and it meant a lot to me!!

 

 

 

7. Favorite thing you pinned:
Seriously?! I have to pick one thing?

Well, it's my blog, so I'm going to pick two -- boards!

The first is my Blogging and Teachers Pay Teachers How-To board. I love it because it helps me figure out all of those little blogging things that I can never remember. Now I have them all in one handy-dandy place, and I can help out fellow bloggers when they are requesting something!

My favorite teaching board is my Writing Prompts board. I've found these pictures make the CUTEST prompts to use in my classroom. We can make captions for the pictures (on days where we have very little time!) or we can write 1-3 page essays on them. They are just great!! 

 

 

 

6. Favorite blog post:
Oh my gosh! I don't even remember what all I've posted about this past year! I know I enjoy posts where I've helped make other teachers' jobs easier. So I guess my Common Core aligned posts make me happiest - particularly the ones about Reading Literature because I finished them for K-6 teachers. 5. Best accomplishment:
As far as blogging goes, I am still so humbled to have been nominated for a Really Good Stuff blog award. Even though I did not win, it was a great honor to be in the top!

 

 

4. Favorite picture:
Choosing one picture from the past year is tough! But I think I like this one the best. :)

 

 

3. Favorite memory:
This past year has been great! I can honestly say that 2012 greatly surpassed any expectations I had for it! This blogging community has been better than I ever expected, I met the man I plan to spent my entire life with, and things just seem to be falling into place in many ways. I'm extremely grateful for all the good things in my life!

 

 

2. Goal for 2013:
I need to lose some weight in 2013. We'll see how it goes...
