The Most Important Educator Lesson

As educators, we often have one lesson that really sticks with us and helps define us as a teacher. Sometimes it's something that happens when we are a child in school, other times it's a lesson learned in college, yet for others it's something learned during that first year of teaching. Here one blogger shares her experience that helped share her as a teacher.

National Library Week with a jar for guesses on how many books are in the school library

In honor of National Library Week, our elementary librarian hosted a little contest. She gave all of the students and staff at our elementary school the opportunity to guess how many books were in the library. I got the "privilege" of helping her count the votes.
